Grumpy

Grumpy was found without a mother in Parrita, in April 2020. After local authorities waited for several hours to see if his mother would come back, they determined she wasn't coming back

Rozina

Rozina was found in Moin, near an oil refinery. Sadly, her mom had drank water polluted by the refinery, and passed away leaving Rosina alone and defenseless

Budah

Budah was our first rescue back in 2009, she was being used for monetization by an individual at the side of the road which took advantage of tour buses

Chloe

Chloe arrived at the rescue on Feb. 2013, she was confiscated from an individual who was using her as a tourist attraction 

Jaco

Jaco was brought on Oct. 2019, he was found without a mother, local authorities tried returning him to his mother but the mother rejected him twice

Jay

Jay arrived in 2015 because he was found on the ground alone at about 4 months old.

Victor

Victor was brought by authorities in 2016 after being found in a very popular area in Alajuela which was not able to maintain him any longer
